We do a sketch of a bird by a pencil 2B.
We draw the head, an eye and a beak, then we connect a small neck to a body. Simple forms we draw paws.
Paws at a bird short tetradactyl and strong with sharp claws, a beak long. Having traced parts of a body, we clean unnecessary lines, the sketch is ready.
Further we paint. At first we use a pencil 3B for the general tone of feathers, and also for a beak and paws. We shade.
For a portrayal of feathers we take a pencil 6B. The plumage of a kiwi is more similar to wool. We begin shading.
Also we add dark tone on paws, we continue shading, we allocate an eye. Near a beak we draw vibrissa — sensitive shchetinka. When the body of a bird is completely shaded, we shade for smoothness a little. A kiwi it is ready!
