I begin work, as usual, with eyes. At first a pencil 9B I plan the most dark sites of an eyelid and a pupil, then NV I add shades. A patch of light I leave not painted over.

Further I study a forehead a little. At first I plan the general direction of wool 2H, then HB I add more dark strands of wood. Repeatedly I take place in the most dark places 5B.
Further I trace a nose a pencil 9B. Simply densely I shade a black site in a nostril, I study a nose bow-shaped and spiral strokes to show leather texture. A light site of a nose I shade NV. I press through a spoke separate short moustaches on a muzzle then not to shade them.
Pencil 2H I plan the direction of wool on a muzzle. I shade 9B the most dark site of the bay from the inside.
I Doshtrikhovyvat a mouth. I use 9B and 5B. Edges near teeth I outline NV that were more accurate. I shade teeth then NV. A pencil 2H slightly I plan the direction of wool on a muzzle.
I start studying wool on an attractive face. At first I deepen tone of NV, then I add to final tone 2B and 5B. I do strokes short and abrupt.
I trace other mouth. I use NV, 2H, 2B, 5B. I try to draw so that it was not visible separate strokes. In language slightly I add the circular movements rough texture. Then I start 5B tracing the lower jaw, trying not to paint over light hairs. 2H I add light hairs on edge of a chin.
Pencil 2H I plan the direction of wool on the lower jaw. I add tone of NV, drawing short abrupt strokes. Here and there I add 2B. A pencil 2H I plan the direction of wool on a cheek, without paying attention to wool length. I trace the rest of a lip of HB and 2B. On the lit its part I put abrupt strokes to show folds and brilliant texture.
I pass NV on a cheek. This time I pay attention to length of strokes, doing longer as approaching a neck and an ear. But final tone I will gather later — now the main thing — it to designate strands of wood and some locks. Finished a cheek. Used pencils 2B, HB, 5B. At first I gain tone of NV, then finally I strengthen more dark pencils. I watch closely the direction and length of wool. Pay attention that to show a rough tiger color, I put separate dark strokes on a light background — especially it noticeable at a mouth corner.
Pencil 2H I start planning the direction of wool on a neck and an ear. I plan separate locks.
I begin study with the most dark site — edge of an ear visible behind locks. I work on it as a pencil 9B to deepen contrast. 2B and 5B I start tracing hairs on the top edge of an ear. Carefully I bypass light locks on edge, to them I will add volume later firmer pencils.
Little by little I study an ear hair. At first I designate each lock on a contour, then I add it volume. In case it turns out too darkly, I correct tone a klyachka (eraser).
I work further on dark part of a neck. I pass NV on it long curved strokes, here and there I add 2B.
I continue a neck. I plan separate locks, I add little by little tone.
I increase tone in the most dark site a pencil 9B.HB and 2H I correct tone on white area of a neck, I plan separate locks and strands of wood. Work is ready.
